Fresh vegetables
Our fresh vegetables are sold at the local farmers markets in Ancaster, Burlington and Milton. Our cauliflower, cabbage , kale, and leeks are also sold wholesale at the Ontario Food Terminal
Wholesale Nursery Stock
Our wholesale nursery stock are sold to many commercial garden centers throughout southern Ontario
Who we are
Van Elswyk Farms Ltd is a 3rd generation farming family located in southern Ontario. We grow wholesale nursery plants, cut flowers and sell fresh vegetables both wholesale and directly to customers through the local farmers markets.

Anne,the farms matriarch is hands on in all aspects of the business. Always watching she keeps everyone moving- no slacking with her around! Known affectionately as the cauliflower lady on the farmers markets she is also a familiar face at the Food terminal in the spring with the nursery plants.

Aaron is a man of many hats. Juggling the day to day at the farm he is the man to see about the peonies- grower 377. He is also the face of our wholesale markets, both vegetables and nursery. Occasionally he can even be seen at the farmers markets!

Annalisa is the extra hand when Aaron needs it, works behind the scene with the nursery plants and the cut flowers but is a familiar face at the farmers markets. She is the go to for the hot peppers and is always there to answer any questions

Ashley has been spotted both at the spring nursery market and at the Farmers markets- she is known as the girl who always had a book- that hasn't changed. While not in university she always answers the call when extra hands are needed

Amy has also been seen at both the nursery and the farmers market. In fact some of our regulars have known her since before she could walk. Like her sister when not at university, she is an extra hand we could not do without.
